What is DTF printing?
DTF stands for “Direct to Film” — a printing method where your artwork is printed onto a special film, coated with powder adhesive, then transferred to fabric using a heat press. It’s ideal for vibrant, detailed designs on almost any fabric type.

How is DTF different from screen printing or vinyl?
Unlike screen printing (which needs separate setups for every color) or vinyl (which has cutting and layering limitations), DTF is full-color, fast, and requires no weeding, no layering, and no color separation. Just print, press, and go.

What kind of materials can DTF be used on?
DTF works on cotton, polyester, blends, canvas, nylon, and more. You’re not locked into only “poly light” fabrics — it’s versatile and durable on just about anything.

Are DTF transfers durable?
Yes — a properly applied DTF print can last just as long as screen printing, with great stretch, wash resistance, and no cracking or peeling when done right.

Do I need special equipment to use DTF transfers?
If you're buying ready-to-press transfers (like from us), all you need is a heat press. We handle the printing, powdering, and curing — you just press and peel. Home irons can be used but they’re not recommended as they don’t provide a stable temperature or pressure.

Can I press DTF transfers on any color fabric?
Absolutely. DTF prints have a white base layer, so your design will pop even on dark fabrics — no fading or dull colors.

What’s a gang sheet?
A gang sheet is a large print layout where you fit multiple logos or designs onto one film sheet. It’s the most efficient way to get lots of different graphics at once — great for business logos, shirt tags, or mixed designs.

How do I apply them?
Press at 300°F for 15 seconds, peel, then press again for 10 seconds with a cover sheet. That’s it. That easy.
